Another day, another truth
a war is declared in Georgia,
a train become derailed in Slovakia,
a neighbour jumped from a bridge.

Another day, another talk,
you changed ideas about a dress,
you lied to your children,
you hang up the phone.

Another day, another truth,
You missed an exposition about Manet,
you forgot my birthday,
You voted democrat against republican.

Another day, another truth
for all the world around us,
another day, another truth
except for you and me loving each other.
