Boneses Brothers and Sisters

Bones had no brothers,
and no sisters
that he knew of.

He’d always heard
that his dad was a wild man,
who slept around.

Bones fantasized,
that some day
he’d be there at home,
and there would be a knock
on the door.

He’d answer the door,
to see his likeness
staring him in the face.

That never happened,
but he still dreams it might.

so I guess now, thanks to Ali-girl's inspiration that you have now written a poem that mentions brothers and sisters..

Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight.........

Thanks dear RDB,

As you know, Bones and I think somewhat alike.

I am lucky enough to have a first cousin who has always been very much like a sister. We grew-up together.
