Bones is young and very hungry. He’s never been this hungry before. He’s reached that stage where he’s feeling woozy, and his head it throbbing. He goes up on the avenue, and does something he’s never done before. He starts asking people to please give him some money, so he can get something to eat. He stops a good looking young guy that has a kind looking face. “Hey mister, can you give me a little money so’s I can buy something to eat?” “Why sure son, just come with me, and I’ll give you something.” Bobby |

Having read so many of the adventures of Bones I assume it wasn't a hamburger. Ida |

“ It wasn't a hamburger ” Bones is from Philly, he wanted a hoagie and a couple cherry peppers. |

Thanks dear Chopsticks, Yes, a hoagie with hot peppers, and onions would have hit the spot. That's not what the guy had in mind though. Love Bobby |

Thanks Yann, Unfortunately Bones didn't get any hamburgers, or any type of food out of the guy. The guy was lying. He did give Bones some money. Bobby |
