A fairy and a dragon walked one day hand in hand and thought to join their energies just one more time around and this beyond description by those who do not know ‘twas just the weak and strong seeking a sense of balance. This was done and nothing much came forth to change the world so the fairy and the dragon reverted back to form. And the fairy still today flits and titivates and drops her magic fairy dust like all messages of love that blow away and disappear into the ether or the earth. The dragon in withdrawal slumps within a thought on his throne of manly things to do that like a cage confines his flames where they can do no good. So of fairies, dragons, magic dust, ask a prophet for the future, the sages for a meaning, but ask me and I will tell you … there’s no meaning to the future once reverted back to form. "...seeking a sense of balance..." The yin and yang of life. Beautiful! |

Oh this sort of made me chuckle as I divorced someone just like this... The dragon in withdrawal slumps within a thought on his throne of manly things to do that like a cage confines his flames where they can do no good. Balance is definitely good. |

Me too, Mysteria, but I reckon it was because I felt what the thoughts were or what they weren't. A slump isn't a bad thing but perhaps rather the feeling we get from the thoughts that causes a bad reaction. We don't know that initially though. Thank you for reading. Helen |

Was it a mismatch from the start? Who knows where the magic goes when the fairy and dragon give up on the dream? Maybe if the dust had contained some glue....? An interesting write, Helen! |

No, Kacy, I don't think it was a mismatch at all but that didn't alter the result. I think a dragon and a fairy can complement each other pretty well but then again I perhaps see what others don't - yeah, in "them there" dreams! Thanks so much for reading. Helen |

The fairy and a dragon walked one day hand in hand and thought to join their energies just one more time around. A very cute poem dear Helen but I do think that fairy was taking a big risk. Enjoyed the post. Love Lindsay |

Dear Helen, this is an extremely captivating write. When the fairy is aware that the dragon is her and viceversa, then it works, but usually we think we are separate. And by fighting the other we fight ourselves. Future? Don't close totally to all the possibilities ... Love and hugs. Thanks so much, everyone, for your comments - and Margherita, yes, the fairy is aware but dragons are dragons spitting fire and ire when slumped in thought and not deed. Hugs Helen |

Wow. This does what good fairytales should do-- Take the truth and make it easy on the mind in symbolist form. I adore this, Helen. |
