.

I have
A younger brother
I take care of

I comb his hair
Sometimes I move him
In the sun

He writes poems
That are beyond
My sympathies
Or comprehension
Which I post then
For all to see

I love him
Without understanding
How it is
That he can be—

He asks me
To say again
That he misses you

Though for the life of me
I don’t know why

.

I am ever so glad that you move your younger self sometimes in the sun, dear John.

Wonderfully eloquent.

Love,
Margherita
