Bones knows who hates him.

It’s those snotty people
from the burbs.
The ones with their noses
held high in the air.

They don’t want to smell Bones,
Bones smells like the street,
like the city they hate.

They don’t want to have
anything to do with the street
or with Bones.

They like to think
they care about Bones,
however, they don’t.

They don’t care at all.

It’s all a big lie,
an unholy sham.

They just wish that Bones
would go away,
and leave them alone.

They’d like to see Bones dead,
along with that mirror
he holds up to their face.

I always ask if better having enemies (we know them) than nobody caring about us....Alas there are nasty (and often stupid) people who think wrong....

Perhaps Bones should just forget about those who hate him and concentrate on those who love him.

That is exactly what Bones did. It allowed him to survive, stay out of prison, and grow up.
