Dream's Solicitation To The Earth My hands follow my mind Imparting gentle reason along your shores The dalliance of tender exploration moors My feelings harbored on quiet ground Long, the laps of recognition All within my heart comes to fruition Every touch in epic, whispers deeply down Set, the stakes of honor bound It is love I sail into the surfs Summoning the arms of trees on varied turfs Blowing on the dunes that mount a welcome mat Stepping out of safety’s sake, unto new grounding that Supports the depth of dreams destined to become these scenes To lie beside the man, dressed in the spirit sewn of all I am And every sigh, and every sound behemoth to my hand Set anchor here, the asking and the giving destined where I land Copyright Kkh 10/18/08 |

You have no idea how enjoyable it is reading you when you write in rhyme and put such an enjoyable beat to the lines... Laughter is the chariot? No wonder I could not get my flat fixed... |

it seems we are all in agreement--you are a joy to read...love the simple coolness of this line: "dressed in the spirit sewn of all I am" ...so very well put...standing in awe |

Makes me long for a dalliance long my love's shores. This poem "whispers deeply down to me." [This message has been edited by Balladeer (10-20-2008 11:09 AM).] |
