“IN THIS DREAM”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
I wonder when I sit here and write,
lost at times somewhere in dreams,
hopeless are all my thoughts within,
yet my heart sings with words it seems…
A smile written to, or an eye’s twinkle,
melodies come forth of rhyme to read,
they flow gently out with pen in hand,
many from deep within, perhaps buried…
When I see a face with its gentle charm,
somehow I’m inspired by what I find,
I write of you, and one of one again,
in this dream, seeing you in my mind…
I love your awareness of your heart tune and you express this so very beautifully with your exquisite romantic touch, dear Bill.
A joy to read!
Enjoyed your romantic words yet again, Bill.  What would life be like without romance - and we can find romance in so many circumstances, faces and places if we choose to look.
inkedgoddess - Yes, it is a blessing to dream, some good, some not so good over the years. Nice to be back, and nice to read your writings...
Honeybunch - I believe life would be not well without romance, and it can be found when one lease expects it.
steavenr - thank you for your words, and replying to this...
"...  my heart sings with words ..."
I know this tune well, although often times my pen stumbles on the words.
"A smile written to ..."
Oh man!  I adore that phrase.
This read was an enjoyment with a smile.
