Promise

It has been such a long, long time
Since I felt so much devotion
There is way too much fear inside
To really show my true emotions

For me to take a chance again
Seems almost impossible to do
I only wish that I was able now
To show just how much I love you

There's never a day that goes by
That I don't thank my lucky stars
I have you here with me each day
For you have truly captured this heart

Promise that your love is forever
That together we will always be
Until the world comes to an end
That there will always be a we
