John~ This write sent me to the shelves of my mementos ... my mother-in-love left me a beautiful Sake Cup, gorgeously adorned on the outside with Japanese artistry ... she was quite the 'prude' and told me that she had never looked ... but that if I held the cup up and looked through to the bottom of it held up to the light ... I would see a 'naked lady' ... well, I wasn't as prudish as my mother-in-love (not quite) ... so I did look~ At the bottom of the cup was a gorgeous cameo portrayal of a lovely, lovely Japanese lady, made visible only by the thickening of the porcelain at the bottom of the Sake Cup~ What a beauty my mother-in-love missed~ I would imagine that no one else who reads this would have this tangible memory to caress~ Thank you for sending me rummaging among a very pleasant memory~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
