And so he said, “My dear, I can’t help when you’re alive but when you’re dead yes, yes, yes-yes, we’ll try do something then.” It’s like my breath a stumbling block to the furtherance of justice because, “Don’t you know, my dear, it’s just not worth the trouble”. So they wear the badge and strut around like peacocks showing feathers and I’ve seen a white peacock in a land due north from me but never thought to be invaded by symbols of cowardliness in my own home town. But they’ve got a back-up plan called victim support to counsel those in need of what they will not get from the S.A.P. (South African Police) I sign my name, the charge is laid, and we do these useless things while madmen and the like make of life a living hell. Still and all, he’s here making calls from local cells while the cell with bars stands empty because I’m still breathing, see? Helen / 10 October 2008 |

A most frightening reality, dear Helen, indeed! You rendered this state of things powerfully. The only response to violence is love. Behind the bars is also too late to implant a different vision of life. Where there is social injustice, violence will explode always. So much work to do! Thank you for this reminder! Love, Margherita |

Thanks Margherita and Roniece. It's a long story as everything always is but it's time for that story to end. I know it and so it will be but it's sad when it involves the complete disassociation from a sibling. I sort of feel alone in the world now but I no doubt will "breathe" through it and come out the other end stronger and wiser - even if the other end be untimely death Then again everything is according to divine order and one cannot argue with that. I guess I'll still write of love! Love Helen |

Thanks Roniece! The blue pages and what they stand for are very special to me. I guess breathing is automatic but we do have to do it consciously sometimes to get maximum benefit from the air and all contained therein. We bring that air into the "within" to know what must be known. I do that (I think) and then spend hours thinking about it and wondering as to its validity. Yeah, sort of like living two worlds at once. The real and the unreal but which is which? Detaching from both is sometimes the solution. And I think I've gone somewhat off the point. My apologies. Take care! Helen |
