I Just Wanted You To Know

Are you planning to write
Maybe you had nothing to say
I have not written either
Though I thought of you today

I was still longing to write
Knowing time was passing by
If I was to remain silent
Would you be wondering why

Should I continue to write
Perhaps I had left this too late
Was it worthwhile asking
Did you want to communicate

I tell myself I should write
Still would it get me anywhere

HopeS, silence seems to be the norm very often and it is a hard habit to break, drifting apart without words to say, writing is often easier but too truthful, just my thought. Thanks for sharing your words and bringing to mind these thoughts my friend, be well and take care.
