"Dumb"

Alone I wait
But nothing comes
The world to hate
But I sit dumb
My body numb

Cause everyday is just a blurr
With fading memories of her
I beg for water
But only drown farther

My only friend
Cast behind me
No hand to lend
Or joy to see
He just won't be

Cause everyday is just a blurr

Alone I wait
But it won't come
Myself to hate
But I'm still dumb

I can relate. I have felt dumb before (emotionally and intellectually - never speech-wise, unfortunately for some).
