I have some time left not too much at the end of the day when the whistle blows and everybody on the coach has to leave. the whistle blows it blew the wry air resonating with sounds of fair trade not too much at the end just enough for iron clad wagons to collect expert passages performed between commerce and its people before ends of coal shoveled days. I say the the tracks of time like rails keep trains in line even the most sleek from jarring sculpted surfaces.. the whistle passes by many an open window as the mind marries itself to thoughts of continued voyage yet time marches on as coaches do on rails even though there aren't many who grace the lacquered wooden slats called seats when conductors waved their fare on clutching a watch on a chain a flag in another there wasn't much time left I say the steam did startle those latecomers ones who wanted the clock to freeze so spirits could linger on coach steps to say 'stay behind'. There is some time left yet again before the next departure.. and we toss and turn at the worry of who waves whom off to stave off the boredom of being left behind.
