Isn't it Ironic?

Peace is never peacefully obtained,
Freedom is never free,

What we feel are our God given rights,
Others try to take away in the name of their God.

When you turn the other cheek,
Keep your guard up.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

though I never saw that in Holy Writ, it's not a bad idea...maybe Ali said it best, "Float like a butterfly; sting like a bee."

I appreciate your reflections. No doubt the main ingredient of peace, Love, has yet to be employed and only then the results will get a chance to last, because peace imposed with war is again exposed to a time bomb ...

Hmmm! Lots of interesting points to ponder!

It's sad to say, that there is much truth in what you have written.

Alas, there have been times when I've turned the other cheek and gotten smacked in the chops!
