He said her love of then not worth a single thing and she looked into the air like a woman does when listening for the ring of truth and she held that pose a moment more with all her senses well attuned. Finally, reluctantly, she nodded silently and returned to meet his gaze like a woman knows to do when the ring of truth unheard. There followed then a forward reach as if he knew he’d hit the nail into the wood of truth but he didn’t know like women do that truth cannot be hit from the outside in. Only she can hit the nail and make a hole in all she knows and so she sought a hammer within her body needs but all she found were feathers that tickled on the surface and not within the depths. And like a woman knows to do she back-tracked speedily to the safety of her bubble that wants and needs to break but cannot with the weight of only a feather. So she sighed and sighed again and still she sighs today because there is no wish or will to knock holes into her truth! Helen / 28 September 2008 |

Helen~ You write from a deeo inking well ... thoughts always ponderous ... thoughts that send me searching for one interwoven in the lines~ This one has a sad truth in it ...~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
