18 bucks the entry, and sun tax free, Shamu the killer whale splash around happiness and wet laughters, and projects itself above the deep blue mind skilfully playing with music, how many failures ? how many brains ? for taming a whale …. Dear Yann, the fascination of the sea world can't be lived by all in loco, so the attraction is great if these magnificent animals are shown out of their habitat. As long as it serves to a deeper knowledge and awareness it is surely worth it, as it induces a more responsible behaviour in order to preserve their natural habitat. At least that is what we hope! I understand your perplexities though. Thank you for a thought provoking offering! Love, Margherita |

dear Margherita , I think we must do both, preserve the animals, it is a crucial and nec essary task and if we can, show the animals to people even if it can be suffering for the animals (i Totally recognize it) but sacrify one or two whales in an aquarium worth (except for the animals) the tremendous show for us human....Buf if I had to choose, I surely choose to preserve the animals and not show them... have a great day yann |
