Light
Moves slowly
Across the wall
The curtains white
Prim and still

Sun rising
On autumn
In the east
A snowy moon
In the western sky

A single sparrow
Chirping under
Wooden eaves
Alone again
Another day

Sometimes it hurts
To look into your eyes
Now so far away

VERY fine!

I am especially fond of the initial impressionistic imagery:

"Light
Moves slowly
Across the wall
The curtains white
Prim and still

Sun rising
On autumn
In the east

In the western sky"
