the wind on the water
and I'm not talking waves.
I paid for chemtrails
in the shape of "Elvis Lives"
but got a mere sonnet.
they're beautiful tonight, though,
against the struggling sun
as the sea monster
in the west pulls her under.
a real modern version of
Romeo and Juliette
written in cumulus.

Clever write! I had never heard of those chemtrails and went now google-searching ... wow there is some real serious stuff to study here!! I am impressed, by your poem, by what it implies and by what I just discovered.

I hesitate posting contoversial stuff
but if things are on my mind they tend to come out in my writing.
It's for the inquistive, like yourself, to weigh it.
I have no agenda.
