Slave to a Memory no more

Let’s throw aside our fears!
Memories are miles away,
What if the beauty that’s so near?
Is really our hearts desire?
But what if it’s not at all?
It’s safe on the path where we are,
If we stay, we will never fall into a memory,
Time keeps marching on,
It moves through us like a cold wind,
And ours will be gone long before we’re ready,

Let’s take a chance,
An adventure beyond the past,
May I have this dance with you into the future?
Tomorrow is ours to mold,
We may be on the wrong path, it’s true,
But now we won’t grow old knowing, we didn’t even try,
You can almost hear the beauty,
Calling our new journey,
So inviting,
All the while knowing we could be falling, in to a memory,

Or falling in Love

This is a charming and most delightful poem.
Your thoughts are refreshing and so hopeful.

Floats my boat, that's for sure.  Hey, and welcome to pip, WTBAKELAR~

Thank you so much.  This is the end of the dream.  Read "Slave to a memory" from a couple days ago for the first part.
