Bones is half dead
with hunger.

He’s got the throbbing headache,
and his stomach is growling.

It feels like it’s eating itself,
and his legs are starting
to go all wobbly.

It’s a desperate situation.

He’s out on his corner.

A client drives up,
motions him over,
and asks how much.

Bones says:  Thirty bucks
will do it,
if you feed me first,
otherwise it’s gonna be
a “c”-note.

The client takes Bones
to a White Castle,
and buys him three burgers.

Bones wolfs them down,
while the client talks to him.

The client feels so sorry for him
that he gives Bones fifty bucks,
and drives him back to his corner.

Bobby

Bones is a true survivor. I believe you could drop him anywhere on Earth and he would survive.

Thanks dear Kacy,

Yes, I think you are right.  In truth, the true Bones has been around.

You rock. I hope I'm still poetic after I have children....

Bones is my hero. I'll never forget the time he suckerpunched the punk.

Yo Viking_metal,

Thanks for the kind words.

You'll be more poetic after you have children.

Bones says hello.

I feel for Bones.  I would have given him the burgers.  But I wouldn't buy his product.  Too much chance of ending up like the vendor.  Well done--you get me into the situation, get me thinking about it.

Thanks dear Nan,

Bones says thanks for the burgers.

You've made a wise decision.

Love Bobby
