 Return to Fairy Meadow (To Mark My First Year at Pip) A year has passed, since my last visit to this wonderful place of magic. As I walk down the winding path to the rainbow gates, orange blossoms kiss emerald fields. A fresh autumn breeze caresses my face and birds sing their lovely tunes. The golden gates open wide, as beams from a crescent moon light up my eyes. --I am finally back home. Fairies welcome me back to this magical place, --So full of happiness, joy, and laughter. In the cool night air, we sit around a bonfire. roasting marshmallows as we sing fairy folk songs. With shooting stars streaking the heavens, we gathered to watch the stellar entertainment that lit up the night sky with such beauty. With the closing of a very special day, the fairies displayed their magic. --Colorful sparks of glowing lights, shot out from their tiny little hands. As the fiery globe of gold rises up from behind the mystic mountains, all of Fairy Meadow dances joyously in the rays of the rising sun. I wave good-bye and saunter out of the Meadow, --filled with a sense of anticipation for the following year, when I would, once again, return to Fairy Meadow.
