An endless space
A weightless grace
Step forward
Step back
Movements like lace

Twisting and turning
A new kind of yearning
Up
Down
All around me floating

No sun
No rain
No sound
Silence loud
All I hear is nothing

Walking slowly
Breathing heavy
I see another world
Small
Alive
I reach for it and sigh

I was taught never to reach for the moon. Reach for the sun instead; that way, if you fall short of the sun, you will have achieved the moon.
A nicely balanced thoughtful poem.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
