The wild, grinning face of terrorism has shown itself in America in an assault we cannot dismiss. Leering from a smoking abyss of rotting bodies and twisted steel, this evil visage is chillingly real ...for the fallen. America must now confront her destiny. For the time has come, September 11, 2001. While she weeps for what has been done, mass murder has left her no choice, her people must speak with one voice ...for the fallen. Ida Werrett I wrote this the day after 9/11 while I was feeling very shocked and angry. |

The sinister web of international terrorism is now a worldwide phenomenon as my own country has also discovered. How many tears must we shed before the world remembers the days of innocence it has lost? Let us not hope that those tears do not last forever. They say it's time to forget. I say never. Never forget, never forgive. Never let down our guard again. Stand up and fight for the very freedom that they are slowly but surely taking everyday. I want to see more, everyone needs to be reminded. THIS IS AMERICA, THE GREATEST LAND ON MOTHER EARTH. Robert, dear robert, We are not bothering the Iraqi people. We are there to help them establish an independent political democracy, free of terrorism and fear of repression. We are fighting for them. not against them. You are smarter than that. |
