Dream dream dream, Seems that's all I do, And picture how it could be, First there were two, Hearts beat wild and crazy, Emotions come crashing through, We can build a ""Forever Together"", First there were two, Love grows stronger, And deeper for you, As thoughts become one, First there were two, Will you be mine? Oh please say ""I Do"", And soul mates are joined, First there were two, A family we'll have, With blessings so true, These gifts from God, First there were two, We've loved them and taught them, And prayed as they grew, What wonderful memories, First there were two, Now Grandchildren are many, A joy we always knew, Would fulfill our dreams, Because, first there were two, This Deep eternal love or ours, Is known by a lucky few, You have always been my ""Sweetheart First"", First, There were Two. |

This poem was inspired by my inlaws, married for 44 years. My Mother-in-Law passed away just 2 months later. She is dearly missed. |

It's sad to lose those we love, but your poem was a lovely tribute. M |

My father-in-Law read the poem at his Wifes funeral. It was very touching. |
