a shifting... a changing... a rearranging... lines are less defined once... the line seemed clear between wickedness and righteousness now... it is when sitting in a place of righteousness... that the greatest wickedness comes. hard and cold above and beyond now... it is when in rememberance of wickedness that the greatest righteousness comes. soft and warm parallel and equal a shifting... a changing... a rearranging... a forgiving an apology an awaiting *** |

"now... it is when sitting in a place of righteousness... that the greatest wickedness comes. hard and cold above and beyond"... Taku Skan Skan (the fourth soul, nagila) is an ancient Sioux holy word meaning 'that which causes all things to move' - it is the essence of life. It is the fundamental Lakota Sioux belief of the connectedness of all things. Even evil and righteousness are related. Or maybe I have missed the point of the poem completely. |
