Christine first
noticed Randy

staggered back inside.

She helped him
escape the booth
he was trapped in
and washed away
the green beer, red wine
and black beauty puke
that dripped from his beard.

They spent the weekend
vomiting on one another

Years flew

It's over now

Food Stamps
help them sustain
their bodies, but
there is no money
with which to feed
their heads.
