Bad Man... |

I've always wanted to just be one of the boys But I've never been able to make enough noise About women or cars or gyms. I've drunk lots of lager (Which has made my tummy sufficiently larger) And I've steered clear of Bacardi Breezers and Pimms. And I'm just not sure when these feelings began But I know what I am I'm just a bad man I'm bad at being a man. I never liked watching 'The A Team' Or 'The Dukes Of Hazard' On the T.V And I'd be hard-pressed to describe The main differences between a 'Ford Escourt' And a 'Lamboginni' (I'm not even sure how you spell it) I don't really want to labour the point Or to in any way disappoint, Or go beyond the pale. So I'll spare the finer detail, Suffice to say, If there was a test of masculinity Then I'd probably fail. Because sometimes, I only feel 75% a male. I like sports I don't swear or curse though And I'm not adverse to launching into a verse Of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. I effeminatley gesticulate To articulate my point. I'd rather be preparing the Sunday joint Than out in the garden gardening With callouses hardening. Because I always thought That anyone could be anything Providing they brought Or were willing to bring Something to the party. So forgive me for being overly Sensative and arty And If you were to ask any one of my exes Which of the 2 sexes I prefer They would definantly Probably Concurr Basically, What I'm trying to say Is, I'm not gay. (Not that there'd be anything wrong with that If I were). |

Simon, my dear man, many women prefer artsy, creative men who are in touch with their feminine side. They tend to be more gentle and understanding ~ and affectionate! ~ and they listen!!! They really listen! Some of those belly-scratchin', growling, muscle-flexing 'he-men' can scare a girl off! Be true to yourself and you will find the woman who will be true to you! Thank you for sharing a part of you through this self-effacing expose of a genuine write! Heck, I like you even better now that I have just gotten to know you better! Giving you a warm, loving hug, EA |

Yo Simon, We all play with the hand we are dealt. We are all what we are. That's the way we we're made, and we're made that way for a reason. Don't sweat the details. You’re a good man. Your Buddy Bobby |

I think this gentle outpour of your heart shows that you have found a perfect balance! And we do love you the way you are. Sensitivity is a great quality and it does not diminish in any way a man! Above all we are BEings and in my opinion/belief ... divine beings, insofar we all emanate from one divine Creator. As such we are perfect the way we are. love Margherita |

I myself prefer sensitive, intelligent conversation over any he-man anyday! as long as he is not bi or gay... I am the jealous type...I want 100% of attention and affection...What I receive..I give back 200% You know you're in love, when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dream~Dr.Seuss |

Thank you all so much for your comments, as ever, they mean so much to me. Just wanted to say, I am really not as sad as this suggests. Much of what I write (as I'm sure is the case with many of us) is representative of the merest slither of my personality, that I occasionally give a voice to. Once again, thank you all. |
