For Future Consideration

For us, the youth, to be called the future
translates that in us is a manifested destiny
of hopes and dreams, a candid route we're
to take as if it were a preordained recipe
for success

Education is used to open minds to the truth
but why can't we grasp the notion of thought
Color yearns to escape like a compacted tooth
Ill placidness is what greatness has brought
for us

To dissect culture from decision is tasteful
But somehow its became our forbidden fruit
Why did we go from abundant to wasteful?
Rags to business suits with unclear pursuit
for America

We circled the globe attained some knowledge
Just to realize we're back where we started
New generation please stop valuing garbage
Old generation, you’re satisfied but departed
from truth

So stop living for success but for America; for us
Examine real truth and rethink current progress

Wonderful...I think that those that are destined to be leaders are more apt to think and to question the conventional wisdom...and the others are more akin to sheep and persuasion...James
