Been a while. Good to see the place still flourishing! Here goes... The Bridge of Life Loved My wife, so short a span it seems we’ve traveled upon this bridge of life loved. Far below, troubled tides rush; yet, worry not, privileged love quells our ivory plight. Even now, principled step upon steadied planks are perpetuated by your breadth of love and depth of sight. My wife, my life’s guide, you move me well within the center, never wavering of me; thus, I shall stay on this course for you. Pray this bridge spans beyond imagined years of mortal life, that I might spend eternity upon this path with you far beyond our wanting, troubled tides. Our bridge of life loved, how short the walk seems; yet, still the destination remains well beyond memories yet to be made. My hope my love, is this; that our bridge knows no end; that it is both eternal and eternally blessed by our God and secured for us within His kingdom ever after. I will love you beyond our days. This is my covenant to you, my wife, my guide, my friend. © Kevin V. Reese, 2007 |

Kevo, It has been far too long since you graced these pages with your presence! This lovely piece has been a true delight to read and one upon which to reflect. I think I'll begin and end my reading with your fine poetry. A keeper indeed. miscellanea |
