Life Is A Bowl of Cherries Went to Safeway after work and bought some strawberries, only bought one pound because my sweethearts out of town. If my honey was around I would buy at least three pounds. My first choice would be cherries, but they were sold out of cherries, and right now I'd love to share a big bowl of juicy cherries with my sweet honey. Less than a week ago today they had plenty of cherries almost every day, shipped in all the way from the country Chile. Must not be too chilly in Chile because they send cherries to Hawaii from Chile in February. Way before I met my honey I used to think that no one loved cherries more than me, but each time that me and my honey share a big bowl of cherries I can see that she loves cherries almost as much as she loves me. James, I once heard tell that Life was like a box of chocolates. Hmmm, chocolates or cherries? Difficult choice, think I'll go with chocolate coated cherries, bet if you let your loved one know you have a whole box of them, she would be on the next flight to the islands ! Take care John |

Cherries or strawberries, it matters not...what matters is that you have someone to enjoy sharing them with. It is always such a treat to read you James. |

James, I like all kinds of cherries. However, I wouldn't like them with chocolate. I don't like chocolate at all. I’d get what ever your sweetheart would like. It’s the least you can do. BTW, this is good poem. It’s well done entirely. Bobby |

funny i wrote a poem about Dirty Dancing the movie, and the last line of that poem - is She loved Dancing almost more than she loved me. I found that unique that it was the same idea - different subjects, but the same in a sense. Great write. |

Yes James I think Gentle Spirit hit the nail on the head with what she said about having someone to share them with. Cherrys are my favourite fruit and I loved your poem. Lindsay |
