The Collective Beat of Our Hearts Sometimes I get too lonely, feeling funny, missing my honey. (she's in Chicago) Sometimes I want to hug and kiss her, just to show her how much I miss her. (I'm in Honolulu) Sometimes I need her more than others and if I could have my druthers we wouldn't be so far apart. We'd be close enough to hear the collective beat of our hearts. I hope she reads all of these...your poems would warm any woman's heart and keep her feeling close while you are apart. Does a lonely heart fall under the family medical leave act? It should!!! |
