Her stories untold Her stories untold Very nearly love. She has told. Anger erupts a volcanic scream, He breaks down, Goes moon Only for a limited time. Then the eternal healer comes. He never understands. “It was very nearly love” : Was all she could have told She could not tell Why she had to sell A story like that. The eyes at first were At war with truths and beliefs, Now they are only sarcastic. There shall remain Gaps and void spaces between the stories It is Only near to truth. |

I enjoyed reading your intriguing poem, dear poddar. "nearly love", "only near to truth" are definitions that bring a certain uneasiness, because we all are hungry for "love" and for "truth", but sometimes we only experience fragments ... You rendered this situation very well. love Margherita |

Alas ~ so near and yet so far. Love is intangible. We can't grab hold of it and hang on to it. Unfortunately, the pieces that we may have clung to have minds of their own and they can slip out of our grasp only to be replaced by doubts, fears, and sadness. Wishing you success in finding true, lasting, joyful love. EA |
