i lay against the soft meadows raised my hands towards the sky i watch the clouds sail across the blue heavens felt the gentle breeze caress my face and in this moment, i am happy. i take a breath i put aside all the things that stressed me out i search for bliss and peace of mind if just for now i'll forget that my world is closing in i put all the pains behind me and i dream again... i walk along this empty street, where, way back then we used to meet i reach out to nothingness and promised myself that i'll be strong as i repeatedly whisper; there'll be a day for me to find where i belong and in this moment, i am peaceful. i take a breath, and i ignore all the pressure that's sinking in if for only now i'll pretend that all is fine. i put away all the bad memories and i was careless and free, just how i always wish to be.. here in this moment, i am complete. "omnia vincit amor" |
