Mares turn around back-to-back, then kick butt. Stallions go at it face-to-face. (Is this parallel to the human race?) I never could understand why many men seem forever to want to 'face-off' an opponent. Is my lack of understanding because I was born with mare-like instincts? Not that I often kick butt, mind you, but in a battle my guess would be the rear end takes the hit more easily. This is not a deep philosophical piece, no arguments or challenges are anticipated. But if you should wish to challenge my assumptions, it's only fair to warn you, I have been known to kick butt. |

And take names too I'm sure... Yikes! Hey no head on here Kacy, I'm backing it up, real, real, slooooow. Sure I like to horse around a bit, but I'm of stable mind when I have to be. This poem deserves a gallup poll. Richy "Gitty Up" Rich |

Richy, you crack me up sometimes! This write was a 'spontaneous combustion' attack, while watching a PBS special on mustangs. |

You see the world in such a unique way, Midnitesun! In all the years spent around horses, I've never thought of it this way. Wonderful write and sharp observation of human/horse nature! |

Karen enters, grinnin' vertically: Have a go atter, sistah Kace! Surgery's scheduled anyhow, so I don't see what harm one more kick in the arse can do...in fact, it may be just what I need! And yanno? I think males butt heads outta mistaken identity! From your feisty sis (*ahem*) down south? |

Dixie, kaile, Di thanks! I'm delighted you had some reading FUN! See, sometimes I am toooo serious, and need to 'self-butt-kick' to make it through the week. Sorry....no photos of this activity are available for posting. |
