A Path Less Traveled Upon stars, making wishes orbit heaven Holding tight to their ribbon trails Tying bows, perked attentively, that night unveils Liaise of tides and time mean naught by mere design But love, that nests itself inside the soul remediates Evergreen, the path I’ve seen For so long, lost in a dream of endless hours Seared in rocket showers, desire empowers A smile blossoms in my heart Even as the days impart their blanket soft shine Sweet and small the memories entwine That sparked in creativity, imaginations purity And all of nature leans a path to warm security Making known the promise painted in my mind Along the path less traveled that I find Immortal, is my love for you resigned Copyright Kkh 2/10/08 |
