i can still see your face when i close my eyes and everytime i listen intently to silence, i can hear your voice. each time my heart is broken i remember you and when im all alone i summon up the deepest memories of us. my heart still skips whenever i hear your name and everytime i think of you i feel the same. im still feeling a certain emptiness when i want you and you wont be there i still regret us not being together. i see myself again,walking away i was leaving when i have so many things to say it was not this painful that day we parted, yet everyday it grew like a fire that i started. in my hours of sweet rememberings i find bitterness and sorrow not being able to hold you. never, ever given a chance to hold you all my life. i feel that, i was the one who made the past a past, maybe if i stayed i could've made it last. i wanted you to know that i loved you dearly and if for a moment i could see again, i will risk anything ti take that chance i admit that there are so many things that i regret but of all these losts, you're the one i cant forget everytime a chance for love would pass me by, a chance i did'nt even gave a try.. my sweet darling how it makes me cry, knowing too late that; FIRST LOVE never dies... (please forgive if there be errors, this poem was written when i was 13, for my firstlove.) forgive and forget, live without regrets. |
