Babys Unbelieved In A man ask a pregnant woman choosing to have an abortion, if given a choice why would she choose to kill an innocent baby. The woman told the man that she didn't believe that the fetus forming inside her was a baby because it wasn't fully formed. The man responded, "So its a matter of believing?" The womans response, "No, its a matter of not believing." JamesLee 03July 2008 Where are your beliefs? I watched the movie "Bella". I hope this doesn't offend you James, but you did ask, I have never had an abortion nor would I ever have one. Nothing to do with religion, just not my thing. I do believe that since a man can just skate off and forget about the whole thing if he chooses. then he has no say in the matter, as far as I am concerned. That is just the way I feel. Ida |

This is a thought provoking piece. It doesn't necessarily express your personal views one way or the other and I think that's good writing sense. For me, the meaning is profound, as I am against abortion and believe a fetus is a viable human person upon conception. The provocative nature of the words makes a person re-evaluate, and this a seriously strong work. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

Yes it is a thought provoking topic James but i think it is entirely up to the person concerned. It is strictly a private decision. Lindsay |

As stated above - I don't want to offend anyone, but I do believe in stating your true beliefs if asked. I hope I do it respectfully. 1) I do believe it the killing of an innocent life, even the possibility of a life is enough to be life for me, though I think there is life (energy) there from the time of conception. 2) As women, I don't think we should get a choice in this matter for two reasons. a) We get the privilege and honor of bearing babies and being the ONLY gender that can do that. But with that great honor, should come the responsibility to see it through. b) Two people made this baby (fetus - call it what you will it is still new energy (life). A man's sperm helped form this and therefore it is NOT just up to us. 3) That is the basics - I do want to add that I feel for anyone facing the decision to do this - I really do. Well, you did ask... And let's face it, it's a tough question, but a good one to ask. And you did it so wisely. |

Thank you Marchmadness, XGarapanX, FastForward, LindsayP and graeshine for the honest responses... Whether or not anyone chooses to respond on these pages this is an important subject matter to think about; and before taking action to make a clearly considered decision...James |
