Side by side they stand immobile on the ground waiting for a show of force or an inner sense to move them bravely forward into the attack. Too weak to wield the stronger that penetrates the depths of a woman’s psyche and so the weaker feminine to scratch the surface so. Lo behold I still can know what lies beneath the known for it swells and rises up to show itself like a tear on a woman’s cheeks. And like the two immobile it too must stand and wait for the bigger, stronger, tougher, to clear the weeds of no love grown fulsome these past years. One day a garden blooms when intent becomes a deed but meanwhile there are weeds, sticks, pebbles, rocks, and fear present in the depths of a woman’s psyche! Helen / 2 July 2008 |

quote: How much time and love is wasted by waiting? Love asks to be lived now, so that both parts can be immersed in its healing effect. This is another great poetic pondering of yours, dear Helen. Love, Margherita ![]() |

Some of the most beautiful and interesting gardens incorporate rocks, sticks and objects d'art (I have no idea how to spell that word) that others might consider trash. My friend, may your garden just be arranged so it retains the essence of all that is unique to you (including the rocks and sticks). What a wonderful poem you have shared this day. Love, Alison |

Thanks Maureen, Margherita, and Alison. It is correct that love shouldn't wait but sometimes it does for a time. How long that time is is dependant on many things and perhaps most importantly on what lies within the ... depths of a woman's psyche, see? ![]() Helen |

XGarapanX - Just remember that not all women have the same perspective but if I'm instrumental in any kind of teaching, I hope it will be of benefit in some small way. Thank you for reading. Helen |
