With cotton, long forgotten and wasted wool,
Nylons lost, satins either cast or wind’s pull,
The mass of rags has filled the dirty alley.

Who will notice those cast off threads,
Dirty whites, blues, greens and stains of red,
No one cares, which is why they’ve blown away;

Shivering in the wind of a passing car.

Can the pain of being so lost and forgot
Bring feeling to where feelings are not
Laying there gathering rags and sorrow;

Can caring be where emotions shouldn’t be
Has something been give to rags set free
More than lifeless in the alley’s shadow?

Feeling the mind inside a passing car.

Gloom

Can the pain of being so lost and forgot
Bring feeling to where feelings are not

You made me think that feelings and sentiments could be inventions...Everyone has to invent his own feelings and face them to the world...

thank you

Thank you, 2islander2,
I am pleased you took the time to read and respond,
Since this series is expected to be unpopular
Such a well thought out response is much appreciated.
