This free verse bird
Has never forced
Pre-Pound’s form
On to her own

For if she did
It would be
A hot tranny mess,
God bless her soul

So, in an honest attempt
At conveying her voice
She echoes each word
With heartfelt reverence

Carefully crafting
Each syllable,
Insuring its integrity,
The best she can

And if it so happens
That the stanzas do rhyme
Than you shall a see
A small smile grace her lips

Thanks for the compliment, Garapan. It seems I'm on a roll, poetically speaking.

Peace Out,
Jill
