One Thing Wonderful

The one thing wonderful
       about me,
       is You.

The way you smile
       and turn my name
       into something cheerful.
The way my gladness
       reflects in your face
       whenever I see you.

But some times when we're together,
       You seem shy,
       Afraid of the tingles
       We make when we touch.

And then I know I'm special
that you could care so much.

Those times, I'm strong and clever,
The words are right without an effort,
I know when to talk, and when to touch.

But, mostly, I'm OK,
and the one thing wonderful
       about me
       is You.

What a tender way to let someone know they are quite special.

Most men need to learn this. Without their woman, they are ordinary, lol!

Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed this. It's one of my favorites from my book.
