True Tone

One step, and then another glide
Let gentle whimsy coincide
To resurrect in donned adore
Though just a taste left wanting more

While rosebuds bow their pettaled heads
Late June, a snuggled sigh embeds
To hum each note, in all's well sway
Anticipating summer day

True tone so clear, the breeze to trill
A wake up call of warm blown thrill
One step and then another glide
Blushed softly, in complete abide

This music played by morning chime
Continues on throughout this time
To sculpt the soul as willows meek
Emotions sighed, so tender speak

One step, and then another glide
Curved into places once denied
A song responds on lips of dew
So moved within these thoughts of you

TD,

It has been far too long I've been away!  Oh, how wonderful it is to read your melodic poetry again!   What a way to set the "tone" for the day!   Lovely, lovely poem!
