Smeared, black disgust written across my face Oh, how quickly it can darken a room A grave expression that liquefies all the rest Leaving my absent mind in complete doom Depression slowly leaking blue into my heart Silences the awoken, bright spirit Guiding me back to the very start Where a new, evil emotion shall begin Darkness consuming me deeply While the light fights for me to be freed I lay, motionless on this dirt ground How could you leave me here to bleed? Very emotional write, very well done! The light will win over the darkness, rest assured. Love and healing hugs. Margherita |

clever and well thought-out. i enjoyed reading how the different colours relate to the title. i will be curious to know what you meant by "the very start" |

Thank you Margherita, I'm sure the light will win over darkness. Kaile, I'm glad you enjoyed it. What I meant by "Back to the very start" is that it means I'm starting all over again with the depression after it has been healing. |

Ah, we tortured artist types. 'Tis the pressure that squeezes out the beauty in us. Painful though. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

That was a very sad poem my dear but if you keep up that lovely smile I'm sure you will soon meet someone else who won't leave you there to bleed. Good luck and keep the chin up. Love Lindsay |
