Nocturnally Yours The lamplights of night buzz over my head as I'm swallowing this feeling of dread coming over me when I see your smile fade like autumn leaves after love's downpour made the world grey, washed away all color you're off with your new lover and I look just like a Sinatra album cover and feel like a trampled puddle your words written not subtle and not likely a lie and not likely am I ever again to know the dreams you're dreaming of nocturnally yours, the man you used to love Hope suffers a downsizing skyscrapers they eclipse my eulogizing and my redundant apologizing to the whispered windy dusk thought that was your musk that conquered my senses once again the shop windows show me now and then the ghosts of what seems like long ago a piano note under the neon night glow I wander the keys down to D rhapsodizing the glory of adoring and I sing for the lack thereof nocturnally yours, the man you used to love tell me do the lamplights of night look like stars from above? nocturnally yours, the man you used to love "Some rides don't have much of a finish; that's the ride I took." --Gin Blossoms, '29' [This message has been edited by soul drifter (06-27-2008 02:25 AM).] |

I think this one has a great rhythm in it and your feelings unveil powerfully. Love, Margherita |
