Which voice will you listen to today?
Which excuse will take responsibility away?

The common denominator is you.
The common theme is indulgence
Saying something out loud doesn’t make it true

Chanting who you want to be won’t make it so
Being stroked by those you scare
Doesn’t mean you’re a hero

You fail in more ways than one
Because you don’t care enough
You fail as a man, a husband and a son

So who will it be now that I am gone?
Taking blame for failings now that I have moved on….

Well now.

Call this synchronicity?

*shaking my head*

I just asked someone how it can be that he has all of the answers and yet none of the solutions...

No stairmaster for me, though.

But I think I'll take a walk. (The sidewalks are so cracked up around here, it's almost like taking the stairs anyway.)

Love you, lovie.

It occurs to me that he'd gladly buy you dinner, and put it on your VISA. (That's probably not funny it's so true.)

sigh

Man, I feel guilty just for being a guy after reading this. Seriously blistering stuff. What a way to put that feeling into words. Amen, sister.

Powerfuly and poeticly expressed - not always an easy task when there's much pain.
Yet you did it perfectly.

Quite a poignant poem Susan, both sorrowful yet strong. I'm proud of your strength.

Someone is royally BBQ'd!
LOL, unless he pays for dinner with sweat-cash and comes complete with a year's worth of spontaneous kindness gestures...it really isn't worth it.
Of course, you already know that
