Stairway To Recovery ~*Marge Tindal*~ I stepped over the hurt that led me away from loving you As I splashed through the teardrops I found myself side-stepping the good memories that you had bruised Angrily I stomped through the pain praying it would splash from me to you~ I glimpsed forgiveness laying there before me on the steps that lead me away from loving you I could not pick it up to give to you just yet maybe in time ... maybe never~ For now, I'll continue my staircase descent, on the stairway that leads me away from loving you From The-Lord-Of-My-Knowing I have summoned the strength and the will to turn ... and bound upward on the stairway to new joy definitely without you~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
