The Flower (For Marge) There is a flower that can be found Rising up through rocky ground Struggling to survive each day Braving storms that come its way The wind and rain may do their best To put this flower to the test It may wilt a bit, but then The next day it will bloom again Against the harshness of the land This tiny flower will dare to stand There before the whole world’s eyes As if to say “I still will rise” Like that flower you too will grow Past the troubles you now know The Lord above will shelter you Giving strength to see you through He’ll provide a loving light Guiding you through darkest night Beyond the tears and all the pain In His care you will remain When you feel you might give up He’ll be there to fill your cup With blessings only He can send Like a warm hug from a friend It may be hard but you’ll endure Like that flower so small and pure In the end we’ll hear from you “It’s all okay ‘cause I’ll rise too” |

DearDearFriend~ The wind and rain may do their best To put this flower to the test It may wilt a bit, but then The next day it will bloom again Against the harshness of the land This tiny flower will dare to stand There before the whole world’s eyes As if to say “I still will rise” It may be hard but you’ll endure Like that flower so small and pure In the end we’ll hear from you “It’s all okay ‘cause I’ll rise too” Steve~ My eyes may weep, but my Spirit soars with the knowing of friends like you~ I am determined to 'rise again' ...~ Your private email to me was PRICELESS and I thank you from the heart of my little bottom for your thoughts and blessings~ You are proof to me that my judgment in tender friends is spot on~ Love and *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
