Thank you Alison and Margherita. I really wish that everyone here in PIP could have met Flicka personally. Non-animal-lovers and people who were terrified of horses would have adored him immediately, and been adored back - and animal-lovers - well, . . . When Flicka went to Heaven, the stable-manageress bought a chrysanthemum in a pot (that I planted in the garden I made at his grave) and she got everyone - grooms and horse-owners to sign a beautiful sympathy card (that 6 years later, is still on my bedside table - and will be till the day I joine Flicka). She didn't ever do that for anyone else before nor since. His stable was never used for another horse again. The stable-manageress took it over for the feedroom of her horse, which means that I can go into it whenever I visit what I call his living stables - as opposed to the horse farm where he is buried about 50 kilmetres away. - Owl |

That kind of gift keeps on giving and is most worthy of a second "Thank you!" ~ which you have gratefully and graciously done! Linda |

Thank you kaile. Yes, my beloved horse, Flicka, was/is/and always will be the most wonderful horse in the world, for me and so many, many others. - Owl |
