And from Her tear fell the world,
A ghostly place so cold,
A desert it was, the ground was bare,
So from Her hands sprung forth a pear,
She kneeled to the Earth, and planted it there,
In two days a tree sprung fair,
On its limbs hung fruit, the color of Her hair.

Half a fortnight passed [and the]
Earth had lost its gloom,
In the sky hung a silvery moon,
And the people sang in their trees,
And they got to their knees,
And they kissed the Earth,
For the Heavenly birth.

Time wandered by and the years grew old,
And so the people forgot the cold,
They soon left their trees,
And got up off their knees,
They wandered the planet,
They did not ask, they demanded it,
They forgot Her story, and damned it.

So She fell into the depths of history,
And no one remembered Her story,
Her children worshiped each other,
And idolatry was never given to their Mother,
They call her Pandora, with frustration,
They call her Eve, the Temptation,
So they burned Her, without emotion.

And the people lick their lips,
And taste bitter desire,
And the stars silently sing a sad choir,
“The pear was there for the taking,
The root of wisdom and of life,
From it’s seeds came a making,
Without Her, Earth would lay naked.”

There is much to be learned by stories such as this one which you have expressed so beautifully. A lovely penning with special meaning.

Yea, welcome!!!

The irony of human nature is fascinating, and frustrating,
so long as we don't take ourselves too seriously.

I admit, it took me a long time to learn that lesson!!

I hope you'll get comfy here.

Thank you all for the warm welcome I'm glad you enjoyed it, sorry I didn't get back sooner... I am a little slow with these things.
